Join the New Buddy Program at PHA!

The PTO has decided to create a buddy program for the new families of the PHA.  The new families will be assigned a buddy, an older PHA parent at the school.  This buddy will be their go-to person for any questions they have about the school, the homework, pick up times, etc.  The purpose of this program is to help the parents transition nicely into our school system as it can be overwhelming starting at a new school.  Just knowing they have someone to turn to can be a great help.  If anyone is interested in being a buddy, please contact Jessica Weiss or Liz Rothstein at Jjwimg@aol.com or erothstein@cox.net respectively.  When we get all the responses back we will match you with a new parent and then you can contact them and introduce your self to them.   The program has been used by many schools in the area and is truly a wonderful way to help a parent adjust to our school environment and eliminate frustration from unknown.
